Could OCD Explain What You've Been Seeing?
Some children seem trapped by worries they can't let go of. Others repeat certain behaviors, ask for constant reassurance, avoid situations that make them anxious, or become distressed when things don't feel "just right." These experiences can be confusing for both children and parents, especially when they don't seem to make logical sense.
You may have wondered whether your child is simply anxious, going through a phase, or dealing with something more. An OCD Assessment can help identify whether obsessive-compulsive disorder or another condition may better explain what you're seeing, giving your family a clearer understanding of how to help.

Our Virtual Assessment Process
Getting a diagnosis can feel like a big step. Click through the sections below to learn what to expect, and if you have questions, we're happy to talk during a free 15-minute consultation.
We begin by talking about your concerns, your child's history, and the situations that prompted you to seek an evaluation. Together, we'll discuss symptoms, daily functioning, and determine whether an OCD Assessment is appropriate.
Parents, and when appropriate, children, teachers, or other caregivers complete secure online questionnaires or exams using evidence-based assessment tools.
Many conditions can look similar to OCD, so we take time to carefully review interviews, assessment results, developmental history, and behavioral patterns.
We'll review the results together, answer your questions, explain whether your child meets criteria for OCD or another condition, and discuss their strengths alongside the challenges they're experiencing.
Every assessment includes personalized recommendations, practical next steps, resources, and options for ongoing support from us or referrals. Our goal is that whether or not a diagnosis is made, you'll leave with greater clarity and confidence in moving forward.
